Is Chama Circle only for investment Chamas?
No. Chama Circle is designed for many types of Kenyan groups — savings, merry-go-round, welfare, table banking and mixed-purpose Chamas. Your officials define how contributions, loans and welfare work for your group.
Can welfare groups use it?
Yes. Welfare contributions, emergency support requests and welfare reporting can be organised with clear records so members understand how funds are used.
Can members belong to more than one Chama?
Members may participate in more than one Chama in real life. Each Chama manages its own records inside Chama Circle according to how your officials set up the group.
Does it work with M-Pesa?
Chama Circle is built with Kenyan M-Pesa workflows in mind. Officials can record, track and reconcile contributions from Paybill, Till, Pochi la Biashara and treasurer collection numbers. Swift Axis does not hold your Chama's funds.
Is the app on Google Play?
Chama Circle is not on Google Play during early rollout. Approved users receive official app access instructions after onboarding. See App Access in the footer for guidance.
Can agents help with setup?
Swift Axis Digital Chama Advisors can guide Chamas through registration and onboarding after completing the agent programme. Approval and access follow Swift Axis review — agents cannot activate accounts from this website alone.
